Questions and answers
- When does Nord go on sale?
- Nord discounts are rare and usually tied to dealer promotions or the end of a model's run rather than a set seasonal calendar. Watch for markdowns when a new revision ships, such as the move from Stage 3 to Stage 4. This page shows no live deals right now.
- Where is Nord cheapest?
- Nord sets minimum advertised prices, so most authorized dealers list the same figure and the difference comes down to tax and shipping. Compare total checkout cost rather than the sticker. No store prices are shown on this page yet.
- What are Nord's best-known products?
- The Stage series is its flagship: the Stage 4 88 packs three independent sound engines (organ, piano, synth) into a weighted 88-key board. The Drum 3P is a six-pad percussion synth with built-in sounds and effects. The Electro and Lead lines are also widely used.
- What is Nord's return policy?
- Returns are handled by the individual dealer, not by Nord, so the window and restocking terms depend on where you buy. Check the seller's policy before ordering, especially on heavy items like the Stage 4 88.
- Is the Nord Stage 4 88 worth it over the Stage 3?
- The Stage 4 adds a redesigned effects section, per-layer control and a larger sample memory, which matters if you play live and want fewer menus. The Stage 3 remains capable and often sells for less used.
