Is the Nord Stage 3 76 worth it?

For gigging players who use piano, organ and synth sounds in one set, yes. It replaces several boards and its seamless program changes are hard to match. If you mostly play piano at home, a cheaper stage piano covers that.

How does it compare with the Nord Stage 3 88?

The 88 has a full 88-key range and a heavier weighted action; the 76 has 76 keys and is lighter, at about 19 kg. Both share the same engines, memory and features.

Does it have built-in speakers?

No. The Stage 3 has no onboard speakers, so you need an amp, PA or headphones.

How many sounds can play at once?

Two slots let you run up to two pianos, two organs and two synths simultaneously, with effects per slot. Three split zones with optional crossfade divide the keyboard.

Listings vary. The instrument ships with a sustain pedal and a power cable; the triple-pedal unit, stand and bag are often sold separately, so check the listing.

Prices swing widely between stores and used listings. Compare across stores before buying; the $200.00 price at Crossfire Pro AV Rentals as of November 4, 2026 is unusually low and worth verifying.

Our take on the Nord Stage 3 76 Key Digital Piano

The Nord Stage 3 76 is a professional stage piano with three independent sound engines: an acoustic/electric piano section with 2 GB of Nord Piano Library memory, C2D-modeled tonewheel and transistor organs, and the Nord Lead A1 synth engine with sample playback. It has two program slots so two pianos, two organs and two synths can run at once, plus three split zones with optional crossfade and seamless sound changes. The 76-key version uses a weighted hammer-action keybed and weighs about 19 kg (42 lb). The best new price is $200.00 at Crossfire Pro AV Rentals as of November 4, 2026, far below what this instrument normally sells for, so confirm the listing is a complete, new unit before ordering.
