Our take on the Balsam Hill BH Norway Spruce Artificial Christmas Tree

The Balsam Hill BH Norway Spruce is a pre-lit artificial Christmas tree with white lights and a spruce-style branch structure. It is one of Balsam Hill's more traditional, full silhouettes, aimed at shoppers who want a realistic look without a real tree. The best new price is $799 at Balsam Hill as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no discount to compare against right now.

Best forShoppers who want a pre-lit tree with warm white lightsHouseholds that prefer a full, traditional spruce shapeBuyers replacing a real tree for allergy or cleanup reasonsPeople willing to pay a premium for a realistic look
Pros
  • Lights come pre-strung, so no separate light purchase or wiring
  • Spruce-style branches give a classic, full silhouette
  • White lights suit traditional and neutral decor
  • Reusable for years, unlike a cut tree
Cons
  • $799 is a high upfront cost for an artificial tree
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is limited
  • Pre-lit trees mean the whole tree is affected if a light strand fails
  • Large trees take significant storage space off-season
